A season of an epic collapse. From 5-1 and 6-2, the Bucs lost seven out of eight games and wound up losing the NFC South title on a tie-breaker when Atlanta beat New Orleans on the final day of the season. Injuries crippled the offense at times but the defense kept giving up big plays at the wrong times and the lack of pass rush was evident all season. Todd Bowles survived as head coach but fired his offensive and special teams co-ordinators within days of the season ending.
