Tampa Bay Buccaneers 0 New York Giants 24Sunday 27 September 2009 at Raymond James StadiumFOX COMMENTARY CREWKenny Albert and Darryl Johnston
There have been very few more futile offensive showings than this one as the Bucs only secured their initial first down of the game with five minutes left in the third quarter. By then it was 17-0 Giants and although the lead was extended early in the fourth quarter, the result was certain after Brandon Jacobs’ initial scoring run. Byron Leftwich was replaced at QB by Josh Johnson in the third quarter but could not bring a spark to an offense that only totalled 86 yards in the entire game, a patlry 19 of which came in the first half. "I can't sit here and tell you that this game can be blamed on any one man," Raheem Morris said. "If I take Byron Leftwich out of the game, I might as well take everyone else with him."
