Not exactly an All-Pro collection of NFL players have worn this number, four non-descript quarterbacks and six part-time receiver/kick returners. Mike Rae's main claim to fame was playing the second half of the 1979 NFC Championship Game after starter Doug Williams got hurt. Rae backed up Doug for two seasons and started five games when the latter was hurt during his rookie season. Jeff Quinn was briefly a third-string QB who held a clipboard as his contribution to Buc annals, as did 1995 designated third QB Todd Philcox. At least Eric Zeier saw more time and had won the starting job in 1999 from Trent Dilfer when he got hurt himself. By the end of that year however, he was watching rookie QB Shaun King lead the Buc offense. Two occupants of the No.15 jersey in the Jon Gruden era were journeymen receivers who are more answers to trivia questions in that they both have NFL Europe connections that any kind of real impact as Buccaneer players. Tavarres King was promoted from the practice squad to wear the jersey in the final two weeks of the 2014 season and Josh Huff played three games in 2016.
