The Bucs won their fourth straight NFC South Division title but needed a 6-1 run after their bye week to make it happen. Unfortunately the post-season was a one-and-done as they were defeated on a last-gasp fieldgoal by the Washington Commanders. The offense was outstanding led by new Tampa folk hero Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans recorded his record-breaking 11th straight 1,000-yard season on the final play. Rookie Bucky Irving was a star in the making but injuries and under-performance on the defense proved to be the team’s undoing in the end.
