The return of the creamsickle uniforms for the first time in 11 seasons brought back memories of the original struggling Bucs as the 2023 edition were held without a touchdown and were on the wrong side of several big plays. Tampa only got to 251 total yards of offense with one late drive when the result was beyond doubt and gave up too many third down conversions to the potent Detroit passing game. Neither team could make much progress on the ground.
