The Bucs finally got their first home win of the 2016 season and did it in some style with a old-fashioned butt-kicking of the Bears. Jameis Winston had two touchdown passes as part of a 300-yard day and Doug Martin returned from a long injury absence with a fourth quarter score in which Gerald McCoy acted as his lead blocker. The defense was outstanding all day forcing four turnovers, four sacks and scoring on a safety. The only Chicago touchdown came on a Hail Mary pass at the end of the first half. The Bucs were playing without two starters on the offensive line and lost Evan Smith early in the game at center as well.
