Raheem Morris earned his first victory as an NFL head coach and Josh Freeman won in his first start as the Bucs celebrated Lee Roy Selmon’s induction into the Ring of Honor in the first throwback game of the modern era. The Bucs trailed 28-17 early in the fourth quarter before Freeman’s second touchdown pass of the game, a seven-yarder to Kellen Winslow, brought them to a score. A gutsy fourth down call saw Freeman connected with Sammie Stroughter from seven yards out with 4:14 to play and a successful two-point conversion put the Bucs up by three. An interception of Aaron Rodgers inside the final minute was returned 35 yards for a score by Tanard Jackson and the 2009 Bucs earned their first win of the season after seven straight losses.
