A very special day for all the British Buccaneer fans as their team came across the Atlantic to play in an International Series game at Wembley Stadium as the Bucs gave up one of their home games to play host to the Patriots in this encounter. Raheem Morris’ team were behind early as Brandon Meriweather took a Josh Johnson interception to the house inside the first three minutes. Three further Tom Brady touchdown passes followed with only a 33-yard strike to Johnson to Antonio Bryant breaking the Patriots domination. Midway through the fourth quarter, first-round pick Josh Freeman made his long-awaited regular season debut leading the Bucs on two short drives.
