Tampa Bay Buccaneers 14 Philadelphia Eagles 33Sunday 11 October 2009 at Lincoln Financial FieldFOX COMMENTARY CREWSam Rosen and Tim Ryan
Another week and another loss in which the Buccaneer defense gave up a ton of big plays. Three touchdown passes from Donovan Nabb gave the Eagles a 21-7 half-time lead and there was nothing realistically Josh Johnson and the offense could do about it in spite of his throwing a pair of nine-yard scoring passes to Kellen Winslow. Twice Johnson threw redzone interceptions and he also fumbled a snap on a 4th down play, the second time they failed to gain a yard on such a gamble. "You should be able to get a yard on anybody and we couldn't do that," Raheem Morris said. "We have to have a better percentage than that. Those are the kinds of things that just can't happen."
