Tampa Bay Buccaneers 3 New York Jets 26Sunday 13 December 2009 at Raymond James StadiumCBS COMMENTARY CREWIan Eagle and Rich Gannon
The second time a Big Apple team came to Tampa during the 2009 season and the second time the Tampa offense absolutely stunk up the joint. Right from Josh Freeman’s interception on his first play of the game, the Buc offense struggled and wound up posting just 124 yards on the day and only had a third quarter fieldgoal by Connor Barth to show for their efforts. "We came out a little flat in practice on Friday and I told the guys that these are the results you get when you don't practice hard every day," Raheem Morris said. "We came out flat on offense and (that) put us into some bad situations on defense, and then we give up a 33-yard run (for a touchdown) and all of a sudden the game is out of hand."
