The 49ers came into this game with the worst record in the NFL yet walked away with a win over the then 5-1 Buccaneers in spite of only mustering 50 yards in passing offense.  Chris Simms did have a long TD pass to Joey Galloway but lost a key fumble and took five sacks in his first start of the season.
