Tampa Bay Buccaneers 34 Atlanta Falcons 10Sunday 8 December 2002 at Raymond James StadiumFOX COMMENTARY CREWJoe Buck, Troy Aikman and Cris Collinsworth
All the talk around the NFL the previous month had been the stellar play of Michael Vick. Then he came to Tampa and once again found himself under siege, nowhere to run and totally at the mercy of the No.1 defense in the league. The Falcons were held to under 200 yards of total offense and thanks to a trio of first-half touchdown passes from Brad Johnson, swept in the season series by the Bucs. Johnson finished with four scoring strikes, two each to Joe Jurevicius and Keenan McCardell. The Bucs also moved to within a game of clinching a playoff berth and also remained a game ahead of the Saints at 10-3 in the NFC South Division.
