Sam Wyche's last season will be more remembered for the Glazer family taking ownership of the franchise and the year-long debate about whether the franchise would leave Tampa. The double-digit losing streak ended when the Bucs went to 7-7 in early December but a youthful Trent Dilfer and ever- impressive Errict Rhett could not carry the young team any further, admittedly hampered more and more by Wyche throughout the season with his ridiculous on and off-field antics.
