Eric Dickerson had his third 100-yard game against the Bucs, two of which came for the Rams, and the Colts had the ball for almost twice the time the Bucs did in the 1987 season finale. Indianapolis clinched the AFC East title with this win, the Bucs lost their eighth game in a row. Ex-Buc Mike Prior also had an interception of a half-back option pass by Steve Bartalo.
