The Bucs' venture into the 1981 post-season was a short-one as four sacks, four interceptions and two
intentional grounding penalties meant it was a long and fruitless day for Doug Williams. The Cowboys
rushed for over 200 yards led by Tony Dorsett and future Buc Ron Springs and the result was never seriously
in doubt. The Bucs did threaten to score late in the game following a 75-yard pass play from Williams to
Jimmie Giles, but Dallas held on downs to preserve the shutout.
