Tampa Bay Buccaneers 10 San Francisco 49ers 20
Sunday 30 October 1977 at Candlestick Park
Jeb Blount made his first start at QB for the Bucs and led a slightly-improved offensive performance, the orange
n'white actually reaching 250 yards total offense in the game. Perhaps punter Dave Green was a candidate for QB
as he hit Danny Reece on a fake punt at one point. Louis Carter scored the Bucs' third offensive touchdown of the
season but the result was decided long before that. It would be another two and a half games before a Buc played
crossed the endzone again. The Bucs were 15 point underdogs on the road against the spread.
