The Buccaneers dropped a lot of things during this game but the end result was another game dropped in the standings. The game itself was a lot closer than the score indicated, the Giants adding a touchdown on the final play of the game as the Bucs lateralled the ball around as time expired. Jameis Winston played another turnover-free game and scored on a highlight-reel diving run into the endzone in the fourth quarter but the continued lack of success of the pass defense and numerous drops by the receivers cost the Bucs any chance of returning to the .500 mark on the season. Connor Barth added four fieldgoals for Tampa Bay whose fans were distinctly out-numbered by blue-shirted Giants fans around the stadium.
