The Bucs’ 10-game home losing streak dating back to November 2013 came to an end in a wild scoring game against their in-state rival Jaguars. It was also the first time in 25 games that the Bucs had played without a turnover as they combined a safe game from Jameis Winston with 123 yards and three touchdowns in all from Doug Martin to move to 2-3 on the season. Bradley McDougald’s interception set up one score and Jacquies Smith’s fumble return touchdown late in the third quarter proved to be the momentum turners. The defense did give up four touchdown passes to Blake Bortles including a late score when they allowed a 59-yard pass play on 4th and 18 inside the final two minutes.
