The Bucs got themselves their first win of the 2004 season but had more quarterback issues in the process as Chris Simms was knocked out injured leaving veteran Brian Griese to come in and lead the team to victory including a TD pass to Ken Dilger. Ronde Barber scored on a fumble return and the defense held Aaron Brooks to just 106 yards passing in spite of not recording a sack.
