Tampa Bay Buccaneers 0   Atlanta Falcons 17  Sunday 27 November 1977    at Tampa Stadium
Another home game and another shutout, the fourth in a row at home. The Bucs had marginally more completions (five) to their own players than interceptions (four).   The Tampa Bay offensive total for the game was a paltry 78 yards. The Falcons were 10 point favourites against ths spread in spite of the game being in Tampa.   The Bucs never crossed the Atlanta 35-yard line during the game and both times they got as far as that, they committed turnovers.  Lee Roy Selmon had sacks on consecutive plays to extend his team lead in that category as the defense did its part holding the Falcons to just 222 yards of total offense.
