Played five seasons with the Bucs primarily as a nickel back but still was able to start 25 games at cornerback and safety. Was originally a 9th round pick of the Dolphins in 1976 and having walked out of camp as a rookie, returned in 1977 and started every game for three seasons in Miami. Was traded to the Bucs in 1980 for a 1982 2nd round pick.
