Started for two seasons at free safety but never really lived up to his second round status during three seasons in Tampa Bay. Traded to Kansas City after the 1997 season after some off-field issues but did even less for the Chiefs. Moved into the starting line-up late in his rookie season and then played there all of 1996 before losing his spot as the Bucs moved into their pewter colours. Never played in the NFL again after his one season in Kansas City.
