Played three seasons on special teams for the Buccaneers and was set a team record for special teams tackles with 25 in 1984 adding another 24 the following season. Caught all his three passes in the 1985 season in the same game at New Orleans when starter Jimmie Giles got hurt. Originally wore the 93 shirt very early in his rookie but soon switched to his regular 85 shirt. Started all three games for the Detroit Lions in the 1987 replacement games and had one reception for 19 yards.
