Started three games for the expansion Bucs but never caught a pass. Did complete one though, a 39-yarder on an option play to Barry Smith. Could have earned his place in franchise history during the Bucs' first-ever game in Houston but dropped an apparent touchdown pass from Steve Spurrier. Also played the ill-fated 1975 World Football League season with the Jacksonville Express and with the Tampa Bay Bandits in the USFL. Never played in the NFL again after leaving Tampa Bay.
