Started every game of the expansion 1976 season at safety and recorded two interceptions in the process. Originally a 10th round pick of the Redskins in 1973 and a special team standout for Washington prior to joining the Bucs via the veteran allocation draft. After being released in camp in 1977, he went on to play four seasons for the St.Louis Cardinals intercepting 20 passes in that time for them including nine in the 1978 season.
