11th round pick 1981

Long-shot draft pick who missed his rookie season through injury but then played the following two seasons as a special teamer and nickel back. Made one start in each of his two years due to injuries ahead of him, but was always primarily a special teamer the same way he had excelled at in college. Famously made one of the all-time best NFL blooper tapes when his shoe came off during a kick return against Minnesota in 1982 and he was tackled with his sock flapping behind him.
