Trade - Houston - 1978 Released during the 1986 season
The finest tight end in Buc history who was obtained in a trade with the Oilers that saw Houston and the Bucs swop 1st round picks in the 1978 draft. Started for the best part of nine seasons in the Buccaneer orange before being unceremoniously dumped by Leeman Bennett midway through the 1986 season. Saw a little time with the Eagles after that. Named to the Pro Bowl four times and came to London in 2011 with the Buccaneers to act as an honorary captain and ambassador for the franchise and was selected to the Ring of Honor later that year.
