GREG SCHIANO 11-21 The Bucs' ninth head coach was appointed in January 2012 to succeed Raheem Morris. His style was definitely going to be different to his predecessor having been known for his more disciplinarian ways as the Tampa Bay front office knew a change in attitude was needed on and off the field. He had previously spent 12 seasons as head coach at Rutgers, leading them to numerous Bowl games and Top 25 rankings. He had also been Defensive Co-ordinator at the University of Miami and was an assistant coach with the Chicago Bears from 1996 to 1998. After some early house-clearing moves to rid the Bucs of some of the more unsavoury characters in the locker room, Schiano annoyed some of the NFL establishment when he challenged a kneeldown play at the end of the Week 2 loss to the Giants. But it was all part of the culture change that he had been brought in to Tampa to establish. By his second season though, the tough guy attitude had worn thin with players, fans and media alike. An 0-8 start to the 2013 season saw him on the coaching hot seat all season and by the end of December, the clamour for his removal was heard in every part of Buccaneer life. The day after the season ended, his two-year career as an NFL head coach game to an end. Click here for a collection of pictures from his Buccaneer coaching career
