Moved into the starting line-up during his rookie season and spent the next three full years starting at right guard for the Bucs. Always quick for a quote after the game, he was popular with the press but not so much with his fellow team-mates and coaches. Left as a free agent for the Raiders in April 2001 and played four seasons including starting for Oakland in the Super Bowl loss to the Buccaneers in January 2003.
