Veteran linebacker who was expected to replace Al Singleton at strongside linebacker but was beaten out by the emergence of Ryan Nece. Saw action in every game and made two starts in the middle of the year when Nece was out hurt but did play extensively on special teams. Had started 77 games in his NFL career having originally the 20th pick of the first round of the 1997 draft. Released in March 2004 in a salary cap-related move and never played in the NFL again.
