Saw playing time as a back-up and special team lineman during parts of two seasons with the Bucs. Originally a 16th round pick of the Broncos in 1973, he played four seasons with the Jets and came to the Bucs in a trade in April 1979. Played most of the playoff win over the Eagles in 1979 after starting right tackle Darryl Carlton got hurt.
