Played parts of two seasons with the Bucs and was the only regular roster player to break the 1987 NFLPA strike appearing for the Bucs in their final replacement game against the Vikings. Went on to a long NFL career and played for the Redskins in the 1999 NFC playoff game where his botched snap helped the Bucs secure victory. He retired from the NFL after that season and sadly died of cancer less than 18 months later. His brother Matt punted in the NFL for over a decade.
