Played six seasons with the Buccaneers but only became a starter during the Super Bowl season. Had spent the previous five years as a key member of the special teams squads. Blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown against the Cardinals in 1997 and made his only NFL interception against Seattle in 1999. Spent three seasons with Dallas after leaving the Bucs as a free agent and started 34 games with the Cowboys.
