Was promoted to the full roster at the end of October having been on the Bucs' practice squad since he was signed on September 6, prior to the 2010 season opener. Was a gameday inactive eight of the 11 games thereafter, with two appearances playing on kick protection units, and then saw some playing time at left tackle in the blowout win over Seattle. Originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Cowboys and spent the entire preseason in Dallas before being released in the final roster cutdowns on September 5. At Virginia, was known as "Mr. Reliable," largely because he never missed a start in four seasons, opening 49 consecutive games for the Cavaliers.
