The weekend when the Buccaneers came to Wembley
The two teams for the third International Series event were announced in January 2009. And when the word came through that it would be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers playing host to the New England Patriots, everyone connected with the Bucs UK realised that the 25th anniversary of the club was going to be something pretty special.
Which of course proved to be just a slight understatement. A Hall of Famer and two Pro Bowlers turning up at the touch football, non-stop media coverage across Florida for the Bucs UK, and the chance for 300+ members of the club to watch their team play in fantastic seats behind the Buccaneer bench.
This screen will serve as a lasting memory of the event with picture galleries, stories and features from all concerned. The galleries will be revamped and arranged better in due course as all the many pictures taken by club members roll in.
But for now, relive the most amazing weekend in the history of the Bucs UK.
