| Mark Carrier long TD pass Soldier Field, Chicago 19 November 1989 The background This was one of the wildest games in NFL history and yet with just under five minutes to play, the Bucs led 23-10 and seemed to be cruising comfortably to victory. And then all hell broke loose. Mike Tomczak replaced Jim Harbaugh at QB for the Bears and threw three long touchdown passes and it needed a dramatic late drive by Vinny Testaverde to move the Bucs into fieldgoal range for Donald Igwebuike to kick the game-winning fieldgoal as time expired. The Bucs wound up playing three straight one-point games as part of a series of nerve wracking games for Buc fans around the world. The game situation The Bears had just pulled to 23-17 on Tomczak's first TD pass. On 3rd & 8, Vinny threw long down the left sideline and Mark Carrier pulled in the pass. He then avoided the tackle of future Sky Sports presenter Shaun Gayle, to cruise into the endzone for one of the longest TD passes in Buc franchise history.
