"Same old Bucs" everyone cried and who could have blamed them? And then Dungy's old team, Minnesota, came to town and it all began to turn around for the Buc faithful. For they were able to start to appreciate a fullback in the No.40 jersey who would go on to become one of the most popular players in the history of the franchise. The game situation The Bucs were trailing 10-7 entering the 4th quarter but had the ball at the Viking 12-yard line. Trent Dilfer threw a pass in the right flat to Alstott who was the leading receiver that season for the Bucs. A typical bruising run later and Mike was in the endzone giving the Bucs a lead they would not relinquish.
