A win on a fumbled snap
Raymond James Stadium
16 January 2000

The background
The first of two plays from this game to feature in the countdown. And this one came courtesy of an ex-Buccaneer and a future Buccaneer.

Dan Turk played for the Bucs in 1987 and 1988 and was the only regular player to cross the picket line to play for the strike Bucs in 87. Brad Johnson was of course a Buc for four years and started the Super Bowl win over the Raiders in January 2003.

But on this day they were both Redskins and involved in a potential game-winning 52-yard fieldgoal for the Washington club.

Dan Turk sadly passed away a few years after retiring from the NFL having been diagnosed with cancer.

The game situation
The Bucs led 14-13 and Brett Conway was lined up to attempt the kick. But Turk's snap was a bouncer and Johnson could not handle it, leaving Floyd Young to record the game-winning sack.
