| Warren Sapp's first TD Tampa Stadium 22 October 1995 The background The Bucs were 5-2 on the season under Sam Wyche which would ultimately be their high point on the season and Wyche would be out on his ear by the end of the year. But they had drafted a pair of defensive studs in the first round that year in the form of Derrick Brooks and Warren Sapp. Brooks would start all but three games (purely because of nickel formations) and Sapp saw time in every game including this one against the Falcons, one that was shown on Channel 4. The game situation The Bucs had the Falcons pinned deep in their own 10-yard line. Jeff George tried to throw a little shuttle pass to RB Craig "Ironhead" Heyward but the pass was picked off by Warren Sapp who had the mere formality of stepping five yards into the endzone for a short interception return TD.
