| The longest Buc TD pass Tampa Stadium 2 December 1990 The background I guess it is typical for the Bucs that the two longest touchdown passes in franchise history just happen to involve the same players. Vinny Testaverde was the quarterback and diminuitive third receiver, Willie Drewrey, was the man who took them both to the house. Early in the 1991 season, Drewrey went 87 yards to paydirt in a game in Green Bay, but that was a couple of yards shorter than this score against the Falcons the previous December. This victory over Atlanta was also Ray Perkins' final game as head coach as he was sacked and replaced by Richard Williamson the day after ending nearly four years of tyrannical rule in charge of the franchise. The game situation The Bucs were trailing 7-0 with just over five minutes left in the first half when Vinny dropped back from his own 11-yard line and found Drewrey between defenders near midfield.
