"Do something!"
Raymond James Stadium
16 January 2000

The background
The 1999 Bucs were no offense and probably the greatest defense in team history. So it when they found themselves trailing to the Redskins in a game they were supposed to dominate, the defense knew that it had to make a point.

John Lynch made the crucial play with an interception of future Buc Brad Johnson. He ran over the Buc offense on the sideline, spiked the ball and screamed "Do something" at his colleagues.

Somehow rookie Shaun King got the Bucs downfield twice from then on, managed to score a pair of touchdowns, and thanks to a bobbled snap on a long fieldgoal attempt, hung on to win by a point and head to the NFC Championship game.

The game situation
The Bucs were trailing 10-0 as Brad Johnson dropped back and threw deep down the left sideline. Lynch swoopd in for the pick and the Buc offense finally began to come to life.
