| "Don't ever stop running" Veterans Stadium 19 January 2003 The background The words of Rich McKay who was screaming with uncontrolled delight in the executive boxes high above the Philadelphia field where Ronde Barber was taking the Bucs to the Super Bowl. For this was the play that clinched it. I was sitting crying with happiness in London. And as Nick Halling commentating on Sky Sports put it, "If Paul was here right now, he would have gone through the ceiling because that's it, the Bucs are in the Super Bowl." So this play is the No.1 of all-time. All bar one of our panel of Buccaneer historians had this as their top play in franchise history, the one defining moment in all the years of Tampa Bay NFL football. The game situation The Bucs were leading 20-10 but the Eagles were driving and Donovan McNabb had just pulled off a miracle play to keep a drive alive. They had 1st & Goal at the Tampa 10-yard line with 3:27 left. McNabb threw a slant for Antonio Freeman but Barber had suckered him on the play and took it back 92 yards for the winning touchdown.
