Profile
Think I'm going to say anything bad about my favourite all-time player?! Trent is just one of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet and I was so happy for him when he raised the Vince Lombardi Trophy aloft in Super Bowl XXXV. He will never be, nor never was he, the greatest QB ever and did not live up to his lofty draft position, but he proved he could do a job in the right system. I am proud to say I was there watching his first start in San Francisco, saw his first NFL TD pass and saw his best-ever game against the Dolphins in 1997. Married to Cassandra with three childen, Trent is also one of the best golfers in the NFL and has twice won the annual NFL Golf Classic event run in conjunction with the Seniors PGA Tour. Played at the end of his career with the San Francisco 49ers having been traded by the Cleveland Browns having been traded from Seattle after having been allowed to leave the Ravens as a free agent with a Super Bowl ring. He and Cassandra suffered the tragedy of their son Trevin, dying in 2003 at the age of 5 of a heart problem.
Selected as the 68th Greatest player in Buccaneer history in 2007.
Pro Bowl selection 1997.
