Profile
Spent nine seasons as the Bucs' starting center having succeeded Randy Grimes at the position in 1991. Finally received NFL recognition with two Pro Bowl berths before he retired in 1999 having not been offered a contract by the Bucs after they had signed Jeff Christy. Started his first ever game in the NFL when Grimes was hurt in 1990 and played as a back-up for the rest of that season. Became the starter the following year and did not miss a start for the rest of his career. A keen fisherman, he remains good friends with his rookie partner from 1990, Ian Beckles.
Pro Bowl selection 1997, 1998 and 1999.
Selected as the 15th Greatest player in Buccaneer history in 2007.
