Profile
Another former defensive lineman who went on to play offensive line although unlike Charley Hannah and Harry Swayne, did not go on to win a SuperBowl ring elsewhere. After a nondescript rookie season as a pass rusher, was converted to guard and did well enough to earn a starting role for two seasons. Became a back-up during his final season with the Bucs in 1992 and did not make the following season's team through training camp. Was a capable long snapper and was used in that role sproadically during his six-year Buccaneer career particularly in 1988 when Dan Turk was placed on IR and he snapped in spite of having suffered a broken thumb in the pre-season. Originally wore the 99 shirt as a rookie and then switched to 73 in 1988 when he also moved to offense. Passed away in May 2008.
