Profile
Briefly suited up for the 1976 expansion Buccaneers but never actualy played a down having been inactive for the Bucs' opening home game against San Diego. Was released before the next game. Had originally been obtained from the Chiefs in the 1976 veteran allocation draft but was then traded to New Orleans in June for S Johnny Fuller. Never played for the Saints and hence was available as a free agent signing back by Tampa Bay. Was originally a 4th round pick of the Cowboys in 1972 but never appeared for Dallas in a game. Played one game in 1972 with the Bengals and then moved on via Kansas City to make his brief appearance in Tampa. After being released, he went on to play 12 games for the St.Louis Cardinals in 1976 and then a further 53 games over the next five seasons including being on the field when the Bucs won their first home game in Decemer 1977 against Hank Stram's team.
