Profile
Former Steeler quarterback who played with the expansion Bucs in 1976 and made one start against his old team, Pittsburgh, as well as three other appearances. Had spent seven seasons in Pittsburgh although all but one of them as a back-up to Hall-of-Famer Terry Bradshaw. Was originally a 2nd round pick of the Steelers in 1969. Threw 23 TDs and 34 interceptions for the Steelers for 2,478 yards. Never played again in the NFL after leaving Tampa Bay but did appear on CBS TV early in the 2005 season talking about "Sportsmanship in Sports" amongst other things.
