Tennessee Titans All-time record: 2-7 The Bucs and Titans, and in their previous life, the Houston Oilers, have met just eight times over the years with Tampa Bay winning only once, the so-called Repus Bowl game in 1983. This was so-named as both teams had something like 1-11 records going into the game leading one pundit to declare this was so far from the SuperBowl as was humanly possible. Hence Super was revered to Repus. The 2001 meeting was shown live on Sky Sports, but most UK fans were probably wishing it hadn't. A late Buc comeback took the game to overtime but their first visit to the Music City proved to be an unhappy one as the Titans' first drive in the extra period led to the winning score. A similar appearance and result completed the 2003 season for the defending SuperBowl champions.
