PAUL STEWART
Elected to the Bucs UK Hall of Fame in 2004
Became a Buccaneer fan in December 1982 having seen one of the first games shown on Channel 4 TV and having thought "that team in orange must be pretty good". Founded the Bucs UK in December 1984 and has been a devoted fan of the franchise ever since.
Works for IBM but continues his journalistic career on a freelance basis and has appeared several times as a guest presenter on Sky TV's coverage of the NFL. Also edited Extra Point magazine for two years and makes weekly appearances on Tampa sports radio and writes for The Tampa Tribune.
Started the BUCPOWER.COM website at the end of 2001 and has been responsible for its development and progression from there. Was a guest of the Glazers at a 2002 home game and also was present at the Super Bowl in San Diego when the Bucs defeated the Raiders.
Paul lives with his wife Kerrie in Weybridge, Surrey and their five-year-old daughter Tanith. The only thing that comes ahead of the Bucs in his social life is golf, where he was the Club Champion at Sunbury GC in 2006 having survived being struck by lightning in May 2002. Previously played 14 seasons in the British baseball league for the Sutton Braves, Hemel Red Sox and Guildford Mavericks and won nearly 50 games as a pitcher during the 1990s.
