Obtained from the Jets prior to the 1976 draft and started for most of the expansion season at linebacker for the winless Bucs that year. Had previously played in the original World Football League in 1974 for the Birmingham Americans. Had previously spent two seasons with the Jets as a back-up linebacker. Never played in the NFL again after leaving Tampa Bay.
